REGGIE STEPHENS

Reggie Stephens was born in Shreveport, LA, and raised in Santa Cruz, CA. He is a Rutgers University alum and former cornerback in the National Football League for the New York Giants and the Arena Football League with the Nashville Kats. Also a music artist, songwriter, producer, and founder of the Reggie Stephens Foundation. Given his talents, Reggie gained notoriety for being the first to legally sample a Bon Jovi song on a hip-hop track, "Bad Name," - from his debut solo album, "Ghetto Passport." In addition to Bon Jovi, Reggie has worked with music industry veterans such as Bill Summers, The Headhunters, One Drop Scott, Anita Dixon, Omar Sosa, David Huff, Donald Harrison, Efya, Dave Pensado, Dylan Dresdow, Ariel Chaboz, Jason Joshua, Taj from SWV, Dj Montay, Billy Cook, Rankin Scroo, Cozmo, The Legion, Prohoezak, Nipsey Hussle, Greg Landau, Grammy Award Winners Los Cojolites, Lemo Live, Chris Rene, Sonivore Studio, DJ Unk, E-40, Bun-B, John Greenham, Greg Landau, Donald Harrison, Glasses Malone, and Cruzmatik with business partner Jason Williams.

Ultimately, through his achievements, he is making an impact through the Reggie Stephens Foundation by supporting student-athletes with his mantra to Seek. Believe. Achieve their dreams while providing them assistance with higher education. Furthermore, Reggie is not only active in sports; he recently debuted an album Forward Back Volume 1, in collaboration with world-renowned percussionist Bill Summers and Bay Area architect One Drop Scott, along with singer/songwriters Jason Williams and Simone Mosley. The album is an ode to the African Gods of the Yoruba religion, featuring their latest single, "Buttafly" ft. George Clinton. Reggie is also embracing new endeavors working with the Executive Director of UNESCO Creative City of Music-Kansas City, Anita Dixon, as Master Artisan -American Music Apprentice.
